Role of women in Judaism

Women in the Jewish religion are equal and respected as the men.  Women have different responsibilities and requirements from men but its not like men responsibilities are more important. In the Jewish religion, men and women were both created under the same image. Its said in the article Women were built rather then formed. They had no legal requirements and they served as a helping hand for men. Both men and women had female and male traits.

My reaction towards the Judaism view on men and women was a great one. I like the fact that they see both of them as equal. Men can’t do a lot of things in live without a women and I love that. I feel women should be viewed like this. In some religion like Islam, women don’t really have a say in things and the Men are the more dominant one. Judaism portrays both men and women as are but separate, and that’s fair. Women need to be displayed as individuals that have a right to be equal as everyone else.
